I’ve got two new Avicii related items for you today. Item the first; A brand new collab betwixt Tim Berg himself and Nicky Romero. I can’t stop listening to this track. It is huge. I love the vocals from Justice’s D.A.N.C.E. mixed with the electro drops. It is tentatively being called ID, no official name yet. The second item is the music video for Levels. This was the track of the summer and it is finally getting the video treatment. Check them both and and let me know what you think in the comments.
Avicii and Nicky Romero – ID
Avicii – Levels

Great vocals. Great drop. Great dubstep.
Lana Del Rey – Video Games (Cazzette’s Arrows Sting Hard Mix)

So, OWSLA is Skrillex’s imprint label. They have a bunch of great artists including KOAN Sound, Porter Robinson, ZEDD, and Skream. So when I say that the new Kill The Noise EP KILL KILL KILL is the best thing to come out of OWSLA yet in my opinion, know that I do not take that statement lightly. This EP is bananas. Out and out epic, massive tracks from start to finish. There was so much early hype surrounding this release I did not think it would live up to it at all. It has. The EP contains 10 tracks. 6 original mixes and 4 remixes of KTN tracks by the likes of KOAN Sound and Dillon Francis. After the jump are a few choice tracks.

Dubstep. Listen.
Tiesto – Maximal Crazy (Derek Sabiston Remix)
On Wednesday, October 28th at The Jefferson Theater in Charlottesville, VA, I saw Portugal. The Man play an insanely long and fantastic set. The main set consisted of twenty songs, all of which I would consider classics, including a cover of The Beatles’ “Helter Skelter”, and the encore consisted of four songs. This encore was perhaps the best they could have possibly put together as it consisted of “People Say”, “Don’t Look Back In Anger” (Oasis cover), “Guns and Dogs”, and “And I”. I suppose bands typically save some of their best songs for the encore, but with a band like Portugal. The Man, that is one that doesn’t seem to get the recognition it deserves, it can be hard to guess what they could save for an encore. One thing that was very clear after watching the band play on the somewhat small stage of The Jefferson is that Portugal. The Man is ready to be noticed more. The entire show was fantastic from start to finish and the band seemed to be more confident than the last time I saw them in Charlottesville, not three years prior. They have put out seven albums that have been recorded at least once a year since 2006, which is crazy given that every single one of them is good. Their latest album, In the Mountain in the Cloud, is probably their most listenable, especially considering that their earlier stuff tends to be more psychedelic. A lot of their albums are overall still pretty listenable, but as time progresses it seems that each album seems to get even more so than before. Anyway, here are some of the best songs they played, as well as some highlights from In the Mountain in the Cloud:
“Got It All (This Can’t Be Living Now)” from In the Mountain in the Cloud:
“All Your Light (Times Like These)” from In the Mountain in the Cloud:
“Sleep Forever” from In the Mountain in the Cloud:
“People Say” from The Satanic Satanist:
“AKA M80 the Wolf” from Waiter: “You Vultures”:

Tiesto turns Coldplay’s single Paradise in to a massive Electro anthem with this remix. There have been some great remixes coming from all over the electronic music scene for Coldplay’s new album, and this is definitely one of my favorites. Have a listen and let me know what you think in the comments.
Coldplay – Paradise (Tiesto Remix)
One thing is for sure; dubstep videos are weird. Check out this great Jacob Plant remix anyway.
